先日この場を借りて英訳のお手伝いをお願いしました。

なんと友人の息子さんが、ニューヨークから添削をしてくれたのです。
自分の英文と比べて、なるほどと思う表現が随所にあり、感服しました。
11月27日の私の英訳は是非忘れてください（笑）

彼の言葉を借りると
「音楽のプロの友達もチェック済みで英語圏の人たちには完璧です。」
との事。
後はこの詩をどうやってメロデイーに乗せるか格闘中です。
たぶんOKでしょう。

Wonderland

In the world of snow, everything is going to colored be winter blue.　                            
When I saw that scene, I was deeply fascinated by Niseko.

One night the powder snow was falling silently,

Something amazing happened to us.  

When the light of the fireplace gently warmed us up,

the spirit of the snow appeared from nowhere and happily comforted us.

This splendid world is a White Wonderland.

The stars come falling down and whisper a pleasant melody.

If you stay there you will find how wonderful this place is.

2.
In the summer, let's go to see the spirits of the forest with me,

jumping out of the city into Niseko!

There is the hill covered by pink and white flowers all over,

and blue skies and towering mountains.

The sunlight through the trees brings out our smiles,

and the path leads us to the lake where the time is lost.

At sunset, a glow of happiness sets, it’s a Wonderland.
                                        
Birds are gently singing a song, and sometimes playing the rhythm of the drum.                                                              

You will remember Mother Nature is so gentle that you can’t stop shedding tears.
